Blue Note Session

Blue Note Session

16" x 20" | Original Acrylic Painting | $350

Blue Note Session captures the energy of a live jazz performance through bold color, movement, and heavy texture. Deep blues surround the musicians while warm browns and rich golden yellows bring the instruments forward, creating a strong contrast that makes the scene feel alive.

Painted entirely with acrylic paint and a palette knife, this original piece features Ahmad Austin’s signature Blockhead musicians. Thick layers of paint, expressive marks, and visible texture give the painting a sense of rhythm—as if you’ve walked into the middle of a late-night jam session.
