Yellow Jam

Yellow Jam

24" x 24" | Original Acrylic Painting | $575

Bright, bold, and impossible to ignore, Yellow Jam puts a full jazz ensemble against an electric yellow background. Deep blues, warm browns, and touches of black create a dramatic contrast, while the upright bass anchors the center of the composition.

The musicians are painted in Ahmad Austin’s recognizable Blockhead style using thick layers of acrylic paint applied with a palette knife. This is the kind of piece that can become the focal point of a room.
